The mobile recording studio
The cabin for the highest demands
The combination of the best possible sound insulation in both directions and optimised interior acoustics also makes STUDIOBOX a modular, mobile recording studio at the level of professional ateliers.
Angled walls and window panes on the inside prevent room modes (unwanted cancellation/amplification of individual frequencies). In combination with different types of absorbers arranged at an angle, special fabric coverings and other measures, the PREMIUM model always provides linear room acoustics with controlled low reverberation times that fully meet the special requirements of broadcasting, TV, speech or music productions and much more.
Television and radio stations, audio book publishers and video game developers from all over the world, as well as universities, research institutes, professional musicians, etc. have been relying on STUDIOBOX for decades.
Pre-simulation of the interior acoustics
The acoustics of every single PREMIUM booth are specially simulated before they are sent to our customers. Behind the simulation is the world's leading architectural acoustics office of WSDG (Walters-Storyk Design Group), headquartered in the USA. Co-founder John Storyk is regarded as the "guru" of the sector and has already realised hundreds of spectacular projects across the globe with his team.
The pre-simulation of STUDIOBOX PREMIUM using WSDG expertise ensures optimum room acoustics for every booth and for all formats, making it the perfect tool for applications at professional studio level.
30 years of sound experience in the company group
Since mid-2022, STUDIOBOX is part of the Hutter Acustix group of companies, Europe's leading provider of room acoustics solutions in the top-quality segment. The third-generation Austrian joinery company equips concert halls, high-end recording studios, stages, rehearsal and event rooms, spas, hotels, educational institutions, offices and much more, and also has a high level of expertise in the acoustic refurbishment of rooms.
Hutter Acustix has already successfully realised several projects with WSDG, one of which - the recording studio of "Mix with the Masters" in Paris - was awarded the NAMM TEC Award (a kind of Oscar in studio construction) for the most beautiful recording studio in the world in 2024. You can find out more here.
STUDIOBOX and Hutter Acustix have almost 30 years of experience in room acoustics and sound insulation. This leads to additional synergy effects through the exchange of expertise and in-house research.
Customised special solutions from the carpenter
Although STUDIOBOX is a standardised product, the company alliance with Hutter Acustix allows special solutions of all kinds that soundproof booths from industrial production cannot offer.
Both the exterior and interior can be highly customised on request. For example, an all-round mirrored cabin with a bright orange branded interior was produced for Snipes in Paris.
