Highly functional, stable in value, with a longevity of decades and no loss of quality even after repeated relocations - this is what every single STUDIOBOX must be. That is our philosophy.

But we are also constantly amazed at the unexpected applications that are sometimes hidden behind a decision in favour of STUDIOBOX. Continuously optimising the existing product and at the same time exploring these new, exciting fields are our mission and motivation. And also to lead STUDIOBOX into the future in terms of sustainability that is worthy of the name, credible and comprehensible to everyone at all times.

Increasing demand for sound insulation

The demand for high-quality sound insulation is constantly growing. This has to do with various special applications (research, medicine, music and voice recordings, education, offices, etc.) as well as our everyday lives in our own living space - whether it is the desire for places of retreat in noisy residential areas, oases of peace for people with high noise sensitivity, etc.

Research project for new applications

We can neither fulfil every wish nor do we want to. But: We are constantly evolving in our endeavours to have the best possible solutions for new challenges in terms of noise reduction. Three external partners - the University of Graz, the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart and the US acoustics architecture firm WSDG - accompany us on our way to even better sound insulation and genuine sustainability in production.

Function and design

"Form follows function". This is the famous guiding principle of design and architecture. STUDIOBOX's success for decades is partly based on this concept, because our customers' requirements - maximum sound insulation combined with optimised surround sound - are above all else. Market analysis also shows: The sleeker acoustic boxes look (e.g. due to huge glass surfaces), the poorer the surround sound and sound insulation.

But: However, we are always looking ahead in this area too. In addition to developing new applications, part of our research work involves designing STUDIOBOX to be state-of-the-art without compromising on sound level reduction and interior acoustics. The co-operation with the room acoustics and design professionals at Hutter Acustix as well as with our renowned external partners is of great benefit to us. We will report on this.
